Primary Easter Competition 2012
We are eagerly looking forward to this year’s Easter competition and can’t wait to see the children’s exhibits, so we are giving you advanced notice so your child/children can start on this early. Details are as follows:
Competition Date: Thursday 29th March
Venue: PPMH
Categories: 1. Flower Arranging (real flowers only)
2. Paper Flower Arranging
3. Easter Cards
4. Easter Cakes
5. Bermuda Kites
6. Easter Poster
7. Decorative Eggs (only real eggs, no plastic please)
8. Easter Hats
9. Coloured paper eggs (Classroom activity Y1/2/3 only)
Rule
Children may enter two of the above categories. Three prizes will be awarded per year group per category. Separate prizes will be awarded to each of the Y1/2/3’s for their coloured paper eggs.
All exhibits MUST be clearly labelled with the students NAME AND CLASS.
Judging/Viewing/Prize giving
Judging will take place between 10:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Viewing of all entries will take place from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Prize giving will take place at 11:30 a.m. for Years 1,2 & 3 followed by prize giving for Years 4, 5 & 6 at 12:00 p.m. in the PPMH. Parents and family members are welcome to join us for the viewing and prize giving.
You are also welcome to join your child for an afternoon of kite flying beginning at 2:10 p.m., gates will open on the Morgan’s Road side no earlier than 1:50 p.m.
Parking on the tarmac by the Sports Hall or on the Basketball court only.
